This role will be responsible for:
- Account Administration: Managing and administering client accounts, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
- Investment Management: Overseeing investment strategies and making informed decisions to maximize client portfolios.
- Client Engagement: Meeting with current and potential clients to provide exceptional service and expand client relationships.
- Financial Planning: Advising clients on retirement and estate planning, including required minimum distributions (RMDs).
Expectations will include:
- Client Communication: Maintaining regular and clear communication with clients to address their needs and concerns.
- Market Analysis: Conducting financial market reviews and staying updated on market trends.
- Administrative Tasks: Preparing trade memos and attending trust officer and committee meetings.
- New Business Development: Proactively contacting trust referrals and new potential clients to grow the business.
A qualified candidate will possess the following:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in business, business administration, accounting, or finance.
- Professional Skills: Exceptional time management, communication, and customer service skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Basic knowledge of financial markets and investment processes, as well as strong math and computer skills.
- Personal Attributes: High level of accountability, efficiency, accuracy, professional appearance, and courteous manner.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Mobility: Ability to travel for business as required, with a valid driver's license.
- Sales Skills: Strong sales skills are an advantage.
