We are seeking a dynamic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our executive team and drive our operational, technological, and retail sales functions to new heights.

This role will be responsible for

• Overseeing the daily operations, technology infrastructure, and retail sales strategy of the bank.
• Working closely with the CEO and other members of the executive team to ensure the bank’s growth and success.
• Leading the development and implementation of the bank’s technology strategy to support business goals and enhance customer experience.
• Developing and executing a comprehensive retail sales strategy to drive growth in deposits, loans, and other banking products.
• Ensuring efficiency, compliance, and high service standards in the bank’s day-to-day operations.
• Developing and implementing operational policies and procedures to improve productivity and streamline processes.
• Managing risk and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Leading, mentoring, and motivating the retail banking team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Analyzing market trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities for new products and services.

A qualified candidate will possess the following

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the banking industry with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong operational management skills with a track record of improving efficiency and productivity.
• Deep understanding of banking technology, including core systems, digital banking platforms, and cybersecurity.
• Proven experience in retail banking sales with a demonstrated ability to drive growth and achieve sales targets.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
