Controller

We are searching for a strong Controller with at least 5 years of accounting experience (preferably healthcare or nonprofit) for this position in the Wichita Kansas area. What you will be doing:

• Serving as a key part of the finance and accounting team.
• Monitoring and guiding the financial performance of the organization in alignment with the goals and the vision set by the executive team.
• Reporting on the financial performance of the organization and highlighting opportunities for improvement and growth.
• Managing a team of professionals across a wide range of areas and responsibilities.
• Supervising functions such as payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing, and other general accounting functions.

A successful candidate for this Controller position will possess the following:

• A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting with a Master's degree or CPA preferred.
• At least five years of financial leadership experience. Healthcare or nonprofit experience preferred.
• An ability to successfully develop and mentor a strong accounting team.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience and success in working cross-functionally across an organization.

Compensation and Benefits: Compensation and benefits are strong and based on skills and experience. It does include a base salary, bonus, and a generous PTO policy.

Desired Location: The Controller position is located in Wichita, KS.
