Director of Operational Transformation

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join a great client of ours as the Director of Operational Transformation. As the Director, you will be responsible for working with and for the executive leadership team to drive strategic initiatives to optimize the company's operations, enhance efficiency, and maximize overall performance. Your leadership and expertise will be critical in shaping our business processes, implementing innovative solutions, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

What you will be doing:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive operational transformation strategy aligned with the company's long-term goals and objectives. Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and performance enhancement.
  • Process Improvement: Lead cross-functional teams to analyze existing business processes and identify areas for improvement. Implement best practices, standardize processes, and streamline workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the progress of operational transformation initiatives. Use data-driven insights to identify bottlenecks, trends, and opportunities for further improvement.
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of operational improvement projects. Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with senior leadership, department heads, and external partners to align operational transformation efforts with broader business strategies. Regularly communicate progress and results to stakeholders.

A successful candidate for this Director of Operational Transformation will possess the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proven experience in leading operational transformation initiatives in complex organizations.
  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building capabilities, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving common goals.
  • In-depth knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) and their practical implementation preferred.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies and their potential applications in operational transformation.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Change management expertise, with a proven ability to drive organizational change and manage resistance.
  • Experience with Power BI and Salesforce will be valuable.
  • Multisite healthcare experience also preferred.

Compensation: Compensation for this role will be a combination of base and bonus. The targeted base range is between $100,000 and $150,000 annually.
