Director of Revenue Cycle Management

We are seeking an accomplished leader to drive excellence in revenue cycle management across a dynamic, growing network of dental practices. The Director of Revenue Cycle Management will design and oversee comprehensive processes, ensure optimal operational efficiency, and foster collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This role will be responsible for:

  • Performance Monitoring: Establishing and analyzing key performance metrics to drive efficiency in revenue cycle operations.
  • Process Improvement: Identifying and implementing automation, technology, and best practices to streamline claims processing, billing, and collections.
  • Team Leadership: Developing a high-performing team while fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Partnering with peers, vendors, and the Finance Department to enhance financial reporting, resolve gaps, and optimize revenue processes.
  • Compliance Oversight: Ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations for billing compliance.

Expectations will include:

  • Data-Driven Insights: Providing actionable recommendations based on detailed analysis of revenue cycle performance.
  • Vendor Management: Evaluating and holding third-party vendors accountable to service agreements and expectations.
  • Operational Reviews: Leading monthly practice-specific reviews to align strategies and operational goals.
  • Continuous Improvement: Driving innovative changes that result in measurable performance gains across the organization.
  • Executive Presence: Representing the revenue cycle department effectively in high-level meetings and contributing to organizational decisions.

A qualified candidate will possess the following:

  • Educational Background: Strong familiarity with practice management systems, EMRs, and financial analytics tools like Power BI and advanced Excel.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a Director-level role within healthcare or a related revenue cycle setting.
  • Skills: Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills with a track record of managing high-volume operations.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of private practice operations, regulatory compliance, and third-party reimbursement processes.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel to support practices across multiple locations.

Compensation: Compensation will include a base salary and bonus. Targeted all-in compensation is in the low to mid $100s.
