Financial Reporting Accountant

What you will be doing:

• Prepare and review workpapers supporting disclosures in SEC filings and data submissions
• Draft and review information on the forms 10-K and 10-Q and earnings releases
• Prepare and review monthly financial reports provided to management and board of directors
• Communicate impact of new or pending guidance to the accounting department and management
• Test and implement new financial reporting applications

A successful candidate for this Financial Reporting Accountant will possess the following:

• Prior experience in a similar role
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or four year college degree required, CPA is preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong emotional intelligence
