State Behavioral Health Director

What you will be doing:
- Helping to implement a cohesive, high-fidelity implementation of behavioral health programming model across multiple locations throughout the state.
- Ensuring the ongoing, consistent delivery of best in class services throughout the territory.
- Evaluating, measuring and managing for the appropriate use of evidence-based treatment approaches.
- Implementing standards of clinical supervision for all behavioral health staff, in compliance with regulatory agencies.
- Supporting the recruiting, training and evaluation of behavioral heath staff.
- Collaborating with compliance team to provide appropriate training and ensure adherence to statutes.
A successful candidate for this State Behavioral Health Director will possess the following:
- A minimum of 5 years experience in the behavioral health field, including program management and policy development.
- A minimum of 2 years experience providing clinical supervision to therapists and counselors and other behavioral health professionals.
- A Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Public Health or related field.
- Independent licensure required.
- Supervision designation preferred.
- Knowledge of recovery, mental health, and other co-occurring disorders and experience in working with addiction in an outpatient and/or intensive outpatient setting.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain a positive collaborative relationship among staff.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing behavioral health services.
Compensation: Compensation will be commensurate with skills and experience.

Desired Location: This position will be remote but will be expected to spend a majority of the time in the offices in the territory. Central to Eastern Massachusetts is the ideal location for this candidate.
